Editorial Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This page explains how HealthyTechWorld produces its articles — who writes them, how they’re reviewed, how we handle sources, and how we update content over time. We publish this because readers should know what stands behind any health-related claim.

Our editorial principles

  1. Evidence over enthusiasm. We prefer peer-reviewed research and primary sources over marketing materials.
  2. Independence. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not influence editorial decisions. Sponsored content is labeled.
  3. Transparency. We disclose what we tested, what we didn’t, and where uncertainty remains.
  4. Updates. Articles are dated and updated when evidence or products change materially.
  5. Corrections. We correct errors openly with a visible note.

How we source articles

For each article we consult, in order of priority: (1) peer-reviewed research published in reputable journals, (2) regulatory filings and clearance documents (FDA, CE, MHRA), (3) official documentation from manufacturers, (4) hands-on testing where applicable, (5) interviews with researchers and clinicians, (6) reporting from established medical publications.

Reviewer process

Articles covering clinical topics are reviewed before publication by an editor with relevant background. We may also seek input from external clinicians for sensitive topics (cardiac monitoring, mental health, pediatric topics, etc.). Reviewed articles include a “Reviewed by” line.

Affiliate disclosures

When we recommend products, we may include affiliate links. If you buy through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships are disclosed within each post. We never recommend a product solely because of an affiliate relationship.

Sponsored content

We do not currently accept sponsored articles. If we ever do, sponsored pieces will be clearly labeled as such and held to the same factual standards as editorial content.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows a publish date and an updated date when material changes are made. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of an article. Cosmetic or minor edits (typos, broken links) are made silently.

How to contact us

To report an error or suggest a correction, email editor@healthytechworld.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
